In June 2018 the 44th G7 summit was held in La Malbaie, Quebec, Canada. South Africa was amongst the 12 countries that were extended an invitation by Canada’s Prime Minister Justine Trudeau to participate in the G7’s Leaders’ Outreach Summit under the theme “Healthy, Productive and Resilient Oceans and Seas, Coasts and Communities”.
President Ramaphosa was accompanied by Environmental Affairs Minister Edna Molewa and a business delegation from South Africa.
