Africa Day 2019 was hosted by the Dean of the African Diplomatic Corps in Canada, H. E. Mahamat Ali Adoum, Ambassador of Chad, along with other Heads of African Diplomatic Missions in Canada. Africa Day took place on 23 May 2019. The event was held under the theme “Africa and Canada: towards a win-win partnership.” Secretary of Parliament, Pamela Goldsmith-Jones, delivered remarks on behalf of the Government of Canada.
