The Ambassador of Gabon H.E. Sosthene Ngokila together with the High Commissioner of South Africa H.E. Sibongiseni Dlamini-Mntambo organised the 2018 Africa Day. Hosted by the Dean of the African Diplomatic Corps in Canada, H. E. Simon Constant Horace (Ambassador of Madagascar), along with other Heads of African Diplomatic Missions in Canada, Africa Day took place on 25 May 2018. The event was held under the theme “Africa and Canada: towards a win-win partnership.” The Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau PC MP, Minister of International Development, delivered remarks on behalf of the Government of Canada.
