South African envoy calls on Canada to support waiver

The vaccine patent waiver request was one of many items that fell by the wayside when the WTO cancelled this week’s long-awaited in-person meeting of trade ministers set for Geneva. Her Excellency Dlamini-Mntambo said she hoped to see it back on the WTO’s agenda soon.
