On 12 December 2024, High Commissioner Rieaz ‘Moe’ Shaik received a courtesy visit from Angolan Ambassador Agostinho van Dumén.

The delegation from the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation along with their Canadian counterparts were hosted by Nando’s restaurant. High Commission and its staff extends their sincere gratitude and thanks to Nando’s Elgin Street for its generosity and hospitality and for providing unforgettable evening to our honoured guests.

Consul-in-Charge for the South African Consulate General, Mr Phumudzo Ratshitanga, participated in the second annual Canada – African Union Commission (AUC) High-Level Dialogue and the reception hosted by Minister Joly in honour of Chairperson H.E. Moussa Faki Mahamat.

South African High Commissioner Rieaz ‘Moe’ Shaik participated in the Ministerial Conference on Ministerial Conference on the Human Dimension of Ukraine’s 10-Point Peace Formula in Montréal.

High Commissioner had a courtesy visit with High Commissioner-Designate of Canada to South Africa, James Christoff.
